By the grace of the Tengu, Japanese film legend, Tatsuya Nakadai was to make a personal appearance at the Cinefamily theater, before a screening of “Ran.” To celebrate this occasion, we included themes from some of our Nakadai faves by composer, Masaru Sato. Also parrying and thrusting with flying phantoms, a bouncing boogaloo, a trance dance, an Italian twist, a monkey song by Cal Tjader, and Belgian Big Beat courtesy of the delicious Shakemakers! Make mine with two scoops of malt…and no nuts!
